Refund Policy

This refund Policy applies to all customers who rent storage space from Atlas Cubed Storage in Michigan.

If a security deposit is collegted, it is refundable, subject to deductions from unpaid rent, late fees, lock cutting, damage, cleaning, fence repair, and legal fees owed under the rental agreement.

Remaining refund of the deposit will be issued within 30 days after the unit is vacated and inspected.

Prepaid Rent and Monthly Charges

Rent is due in advance of the rental period selected.  Prepaid rent is refundable only for unused full rental periods after the unit is properly vacated and all obligations are satisfied.

Advance Reservation Deposits

Fully refundable if the customer cancels at least 5 days before scheduled move-in.  Refunds will be processed within 4 business days after cancellation.

Deductions & Charges

Allowed deductions from refunds include: u paid rent, late fees, lock cutting, cleaning, repair or damages beyond normal wear, and disposal of abandoned property.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method when possible.  If not possible, refunds will be issued by check mailed to the customers last know address.  Refunds are processed within 30 days after final inspection.

Disputes

Customers must notify the facility in writing of any dispute regarding a refund within 30 ays of the refund issuance.  Atlas Cubed Storage will investigate and respond within 30 days.

Abandoned Property / Lien Actions

If the account is delinquent and the facility exercises its lien rights under Michigan Law, Customs may forfeit an right to a refund for prepaid rent and deposits, subject to applicable statutory notice and sale procedures.

Changes to Policy

Atlas Cubed Storage reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy.  Changes will be posted at the facility and on the website; they do not apply retroactively to completed rentals.
